MISSIONS
Church Planting...
A fifteen year commitment to church planting was embraced in 2004. Our first church plant was Blackberry Community Fellowship, a ministry located in Johnson County along FM-917 between Joshua and Godley. Our second church plant was ECHO, a ministry that meets in the J.J. Mocha building in Burleson’s old town area, targeting the postmodern culture. Work on a third church plant is underway.
February 25, 2007 Iglesia Comunidad de Burleson held their first worship service, meeting at J.J. Mocha in Old Town Burleson with 39 attending. Now the church meets at Alsbury each Sunday at 12:30. This church is being planted to reach the increasing number of Hispanic families in Burleson and the surrounding area.
Plans are underway for additional church plants.
Mission Trips
Alsbury is committed to taking the Gopsel message around the globe. Throughout the year various mission trips are taken to local and international destinations.
