ALSBURY STUDENT MINISTRY

Alsbury Student ministry exists to provide an environment that promotes and encourages students to:

• Connect students to the Creator
• Unify them in the body of Christ
• Equip them to
• Live for Him every day in every way, and to
• Serve one another and the world.

Sunday Mornings

Sunday morning is a time of corporate worship with the entire church at the 9:15 hour. During the 10:30 hour, all students meet together for a short time in the Youth Building before splitting into small groups for Bible study.

BURN

BURN is the perfect opportunity for teenagers to "re-charge" in the middle of their week. Burn is a worship service designed specifically for teenagers. BURN provides upbeat music, videos, skits, games, and a whole lot of fun. Each week BJ discusses the truths of the Bible in an exciting and real way that relates to teenagers today. Come and hang out early or stay late - and don't be surprised when Wednesday nights become the best part of your week!

Connect Groups

Sunday evening Connect Groups are a time to go beyond the surface and have meaningful discussions about the things of God and Scripture. But this isn't your typical Bible study - you may watch one of your favorite TV shows or clips from a current movie and then discuss its spiritual meaning. You never know... but it is always fun and entertaining. Plus there is FOOD!
There are two different Connect Groups that meet for students on Sunday evenings at 5:00pm. Middle School students meet at BJ's home - 1400 Cherokee Rose Ln, and High School Students meet at the Teer's home - 1013 Linden.
